One of the most wonderful benefits of Reiki is in its use in self-treatment. I think you’ll agree, you can’t effectively do acupuncture on yourself, or a chiropractic adjustment, or a full-body massage. Using Reiki in self-treatment, you have the opportunity to receive all the possible benefits of Reiki: relaxation, pain relief, improving sleep, reducing blood pressure and more.
In my self-treatment, I’ve found Reiki to offer me relief from stress and physical pain, a deep sense of relaxation, rejuvenation and clarity, and a means to balance the health of my body, mind and spirit. Reiki is an innate (smart) modality that will support what needs to be supported in your body, mind and spirit at that moment in time. It all starts with your intention to support your greatest and highest good. We Reiki practitioners have a saying, ‘as the Reiki flows, get out the way and let Reiki do what needs to be done.’ When sharing a Reiki treatment with others, they might report the same or experience different results based upon their body’s needs at the time.
